The most jovial man on earth, Mr. Alex Mill who espoused the enchanting dazzling lady ever, Mrs. Carnation Mill in 1977 had triumphantly shaped an ideal clan consists of their outstanding controversial yet passionate son, Xavier, their second prudent child which refers to me, Hannah and their most mischievous youngest son who often impels everyone to go lunatic, Derrick. Another member is our ever dependable faithful St. Bernard, Benny.

We live a nomadic life because dad is frequently transferred to various areas. We knew lots of people but it ends during the Mill’s high school in a well-known town, St. Valleyhigh. The Mill’s children are already reputable in every high school that they went and so is this one. We are active in outdoors sports and academics too.

In this town with friendly neighborhoods, right in the heart of it is where the brilliant high school was built. As I enjoyed my walk down the boys’ lockers with Xavier after three hours of dreadful classes, I thought about things I was going to do and what I had learned. Then, came the stinky Giles singing that awful song as if he owned the school. Some jerks just do not perceive how to be considerate.

I knew that Xavier was having a basketball tournament soon. Xavier had invited the whole clan to watch him that night but I knew dad would not be there although he promised. Even though he was a jolly type, but he was always busy and often stressed up.

As I took a bus to the field with Benny because mum brought Derrick for a hair cut and would be late, I watched the beautiful maple leaves dancing along the path following the wind. How I wish dad could leave his job and find a new one which does not give him so much pressure and would be able to spend his quality time with his precious family like when we were young.

I was one of the early bird but time moved like a gigantic wave chasing the shore. Benny sat on the bench beside me to have a better view of Xavier. Mum and Derrick, who both had nicer look after hair cut sat beside Benny but Dad never appeared that night. The game was impressive and St. Valleyhigh won against St. Carl, 61-54. Obviously, Xavier was let down and was moody for a few days.

Anyway, I was still wondering why dad wanted to keep himself so busy and under pressure? Was he trying to keep away from his wonderful clan? Or maybe he was trying to hide something from us?

I dared myself many times to inquire dad about the truth. Mum tried to stop me. Maybe mum knew why but she pretended to be ignorant. Besides, dad only cared about Derrick and mum but very little on me and Xavier. Were we not his children? Had he forgotten about his two obedient and wonderful gift from God to him back in 1980’s? Why were Xavier and I not receiving dad’s love so much now? Why was he neglecting us? Why had he changed so much? Why?

I felt hurt and so was Xavier. Although Derrick was the youngest but we were still part of his flesh and blood, forever! We got a big fight with dad one night after he disagreed with us going hiking in the coming Saturday. It continued until dad was so frustrated that he blurted out “I don’t allow and I don’t care about both of you as you are not mine!” Everyone was silent. Xavier and I did not understand. A jovial dad turned out to be the other way round. Since then, I hated him but I still hope that dad would love us like how he did before.

The moments, days and memories never came back. During dad’s journey back from St. Journeyville to St. Valleyhigh, he was gone forever. When mum informed the three of us, we all were heart broken. There’s no exception in it. Dad left without even trying to love us again. He did not leave a note or anything. Xavier and I were heartbroken but what can we do to get dad back? Mum was calm and encouraged us to continue our life. Derrick who was so close to dad had cried so much and we all missed dad. But why did he leave this way? Why did he………?

Title: Saving water, our diminishing commodity

If Earth is look down from the view of space, it has a predominant colour of blue. The surface of Earth is made up of approximately 70% of water which perhaps we should have better called the Earth, Ocean. As facts had stated, there is a percentage of 97.5% of salt water on Earth leaving only 2.5% of fresh water which basically are sources from the frozen icecaps, lakes, rivers, reservoirs and those underground sources that are shallow enough to be tapped at an affordable cost. In years to come despite our inherent natural tendency to think otherwise, 2/3 people on earth will face a fresh water shortage by the year 2025 yet fresh water is not an exhaustless commodity and we are running out fast.

Moreover, years to come people are prone to get health-related sickness associated with lack of access to safe drinking water, inadequate sanitation and poor hygiene. The annual cost of meeting to the basic needs of all people in developing countries like us is only 1/10^th of world’s government expenditure on armaments each year.

There are lots of importances when it comes to saving water. First and foremost, it is to sustain the population growth which is increasing rapidly from years to years. Ever since last forty five years the population and doubled and if the rates of birth or death continues, it is expected to double again in the next fifty years. Besides, water is also an important role to agriculture in order to ensure consistent production of agriculture products annually. In addition, in industry field, they are also fighting with agriculture felid for the supply of water for a greater share as everything produced consumes water yet when our consumer society is promoting an escalation of excess. Not to forget, water is also important to home usage where mostly average users would use approximately 150 gallons of water each day.

It is pretty obvious that we should be aware with the importance of saving water as the effects from it are affecting other sources directly. For instant, just by saving water we will help to decrease disease in humans, flora and fauna. Additionally, the water stores that collect necessary concentrate chemical run-offs from agriculture and industry will not be diminishing,. As a result, the remaining supplies will not be increasingly dangerous and even not resulting in toxic algae blooms that can convert dwindling freshwater reserves into poisonous sludge.

There are many ways to save water. It is all about how willingly an individual does it or the individual’s attitude and thinking. As we are doing some simple work at home such as brushing teeth or soaping dishes, we should turn off the tap after use or when we are not using it and not let the tap runs continuously. We should also replace shower tap head with an ultra low-flow version which enable us to cut down 50% of water usage.

While washing vegetables or dishes, use a basin and the water there after can be use to water plants. We should also avoid constantly flushing the toilet unnecessarily. We may use a pail instead of hose. This applies to watering plants. We should try watering the plants in the early morning or in the late evening to reduce evaporation. Surprisingly, the water used for washing clothing can be reused for cleaning toilet or floor.

In order to wash a huge compound such as the house porch or drains, try collecting rain water to do so. During cleaning the windows we should try using newspapers as carbon absorbs dust very easily. Recycle is the most ideal steps to start saving water as recycling paper will reduce pulp and paper industry. Glass and metal are also great contributors so best, limit your consumption first. Plastic recycling are hoax and never attempt to buy it instead avoid it.

In a nutshell, we as a responsible individual should show some solidarity with vulnerable people. We should learn to buy what we need and watch its impact on the environment as well as people’s lives. We should also be aware with the learning of non-violence. In addition, we also may heal a rift with a friend or within family. As we always hear, plant a tree as it does many benefits to Earth and us. The most important one is never waste resources that are so valuable to us now especially during the area of globalization plus the shortage of resources.

It was still early to get up and prepare for school as it was only three in the morning but I count not help to stay awake. Therefore, I decided to take a walk to the seaside to watch the twilight.

Although it was too early for me, I could watch many other villagers getting ready to sail to the sea. Therefore, I sat down at one corner until I did not realize it was time to go to school. I managed to wave goodbye to dad too.

Time moved very fast and there were many things need to be done. Mum will only give my sister and I to share a piece of cake before walking to school. Then, my sister and I would wait for our neighbour’s daughter, Kim, to join us to school.

I studied in the same class with Kim. We were best friends since young. Although we live in poverty but it was indeed an unadorned life. She was the apple of her parent’s eyes.

After this, mum and Kim’s mother would go to the nearby river to do laundry. Our dads had gone out to the sea early this morning and would only be back in two day’s time. I am sure going to miss him.

Anyway, after school, Kim’s mum and my mum would prepare a simple lunch for us and our families normally eat together at the ‘pondok’ which Kim’s dad and my dad built. Sometimes, if we were lucky enough, we would get some meat in our dish or else it was just some salted fish, rice blachan and one kind of the vegetable planted at our backyard. The food we ate during lunch would be heated up later to be our dinner again.

During evenings, Kim, my sister and I would normally go for a stroll around the village. The air was so fresh and the roads were not too busy with vehicles. Sometimes we would have some beverage at Pak Kiah’s stall near the ‘masjid’.

Since we were waiting for our dad to come home, we went to the beach to wait in case they came back early while at the same time enjoying the sunset. Well, after a long wait, my mum came to the beach to ask us back home for dinner. Therefore, it was not an early arrival of our dads at all. We still have tomorrow anyway. They are sure to come home tomorrow. My dad never lies to me.

Yes, my dad never lies to me but in certain problem he cause me though that he lied. The next day, early in the morning, I took a peep out to the sea to find that there were no signs of my dad’s boat. I started to worry but mum was there to comfort my sister and me.

Coincidently, not only my sister and I were worried, even Kim was and her mum too. Although so, we continued our routine daily until three days later. There was a huge crowd near the sea. Everyone running towards the seashore.

I did not notice the crowd until someone came to knock on the door and informed my family that my dad and the crew had arrived. I was delighted and relieved but something deep in me gave me an uneasy feeling when I hugged my dad.

I caught sight of the rest of the members but here was not Kim’s dad. I enquired my dad and he announced that their ship wrecked and Kim’s dad could not be found.

Kim’s family broke into tears. My family and I helped to comfort them. The head of the village had arranged a look out for Kim’s dad. Many of them were youths and among them were Kim herself and me. Kim was very determined and strong. All the other youths admired her characteristics. All the other villagers too help by giving some food or cash and other necessities.

Beside that too, we would gathered the whole village at night to pray for Kim’s dad to be safe and could be found soon. Although Kim was sad but she did not show it. She was really a tough and strong girl.

After a long search, the whole village almost gave up except Kim herself. During one dawn, she found a living body hidden near the mangrove tree’s roots. To everyone’s relief it was Kim’s dad! Everyone was so delighted, relieved, grateful and tears of joy and happiness were wept. There was a dinner specially held for Kim’s dad. However, Kim’s dad never revealed what happened to him. Nobody knew why or what had happened. Well, I guess it was better to put it this way.

A school nowadays is known as a place where students compete to achieve excellent results, which will benefits their future. However, this has causes the main purpose of going to school is for being put aside and students tend to get under great pressure. Furthermore, the school system starts to drop and most students could not survive with it, as school system does not reflect their true potential.

School is a place for students to gain knowledge for their own benefit in future and is not to compete with others from exam results. Exams are carried out to make sure the students understand what was taught.

Therefore, my own ideal school would be a place like how I said earlier, a place free from pressure but study in a serene environment.

Firstly, for my school it will be in a shape of octagon and is four-storey tall. It will have an ultra modern look made from synthetic fiber. This will help to make the infrastructure strong, light, flexible, and non-corrosive. The most important one is it is friendly to the nature as well as it will not be demolish easily during earthquake occurs. The surrounding of the school will be full of facilities such as sports grounds and fields as well as floras. The interior designing would be lighted with chandeliers and the floors are made of parquet.

As for the teachers, they would be at least one teacher for all the different lessons and they are experience yet a teacher who takes teaching seriously. They would allow soft music to be played during students doing their assignments or class works. This would help to ease the boredom of students.

Meanwhile the lessons taught would be of every student’s choice and its amount is based on the level of a student. As it was said in the beginning, exams are given as a form of making sure every student understand what was taught. There will not be any major exam besides semester exam and during the last year of high school, a special exam is given and that exam result would be for the student’s future use. Homework and assignments are still going to be given in order to let students practice their skills and understanding. Every homework and assignment will be taken it marks so that students will take them seriously.

School will starts at eight in the morning and ends at four in the afternoon. Breakfast will be at ten in the morning where as lunch break will be at twelve thirty until two in the afternoon. The cafeteria will provide breakfast and lunch in a buffet form and self-service would be practiced.

The eating hall would be spacious and is equip with teak wood chairs and tables where as the cutleries utensils are always taken while taking the food displayed. Other spices like ketchup, chilies sauce, salt, pepper, Soya sauce or any other would be provided in one corner and beverage are also displayed next to the spices corner.

Well the technology in school will be as such. Every student is entitled to a free laptop during signing into the school so that every assignment, homework, and notes can be referred or complete at anywhere and anytime a student wishes to.

Every student will need to create an e-mail address to enable the teacher to communicate with the students during emergency such as sending the lists of assignment and homework when the student is absent. Where as for the students, they will have to send an e-mail on that particular day they are absent, why they are absent and other important details. This will help to avoid any pending reasons from students about their absent because if they fail to send an e-mail explaining their absent that day, they are counted as escaping school and serious actions will be taken.

In my ideal school which is a co-ex school, all boys are suppose to wear a tie with white top with collar and black trousers where as for the girls they are allowed to choose whether to wear a skirt or long pants of black color and a front-buttoned white blouse. No jeans are allowed and this will help to disciplines the students. All the co-curricular activities are compulsory to the students and their will be varieties of clubs and sports to choose from.

Therefore, this is my ideal school, no pressure, no worries, just the luxury of study.

In fact, it was a very beautiful family and full of sweet and bitter moments. Dad is a cool person who is always there to accompany his noisy children whenever he is free. He works, as a Mum is a very tendering person who really cares for her family like how she tenders her bed of roses. I as the second eldest in the family had a great time being in the middle of two unique male siblings.

Well Xavier is an ever-loving brother and when it comes to debate, he will be the one who can come out with strong and relevant points and he has his advantage and disadvantage for that. He would quarrel with Derrick using his debating style until Derrick would start to beat him. Xavier is a very great star in school, the president of debating club, secretary of basketball club and a very active athlete who won many cups and medals.

Where as for Derrick, he is a kid who is rebellious. He never wants to listen if he does not like what is taught to him but when it is dad who lectures him, he would be afraid. He is just not that but naughty and sometimes can be very annoying as well. However, no matter what it is, he is still my brother and I really like to tease him with Xavier. He seems to like it, as he gets older.

Rainfalls are what which kept me company when I was in misery and great difficulties. In fact, I started to love them even now when I am so busy but still manage to take a glimpse of these wonderful Mother Nature. They seem to fade and wash all my worries away when I ponder on my problems.

When I was young, I was thought to be patient for that would bring me to great success one day no matter what may comes and in fact, it is true. I grew up like how a child should be. As the only child in the family, I enjoy all the attention given to me. My mum would pamper me so much, that sometimes she would not let my dad to beat me or even scolds me.

Yes, I was so love by my family even my grandparents are always fulfilling all my wills. If I could recall when I was young I love to sit by my grandparents of my dad’s side as my grandparents from my mum’s side had passed away, listening to the old ones reading me fairy tales. It was the most unforgettable memories of my childhood and before the whole wonderful life goes, demolished.

Well the whole bad incident starts when my grandma passed away of blood cancer when I was eighteen. She was that time 75 years old and grandpa also left not long after that, approximately a year later.

Unfortunately, during grandpa passed away, dad got a promotion and had to be transfer to another city. Mum was not agreeing to dad’s decision to accept the offer but dad had no choice. I was lonely after that. Mum is a senior certify accountant in a big company and has to work over time too. Therefore, she had no time for me. If you do not see me in school, I would be alone in the streets with my friends or at home scrutinizing on books.

Life got very boring and things got worst when I was nineteen when mum suspect that dad has an affair. They even filed divorce! My heart was broken. I have no one to turn to anymore when I face a difficulty especially like this one, which is so huge! No more attention, loving grandparents, over protective parents and worst no company at all beside friends who do not gives you the warm feeling of family ship.

I was rather impatient with the whole situation and I am now twenty, doing my last year of accountancy. If I were to be given the chance of going back into my past life, I would not want it anymore. Although it causes me great misery but I know, I have grown up to be a great person. After all the heartbreaks, which require me to be patient all the while had now gave me a perfect and bright future. I would be finishing my course in a year time and mum had offered me to work in her company where as dad, we had lost touch of him. I wonder how he is.

Indeed, like what I was thought “he who is patient can have whatever he wills.” I have achieved my bright future with success after so many years of great patient and I am proud of it.

In daily life of a human being, we basically need water in many ways. Our body for instant is already made up of ninety percents of liquid, which comes from water that we consume. We also use water to bath and when we need beverage, water needs to be boiling to kill the microorganisms. Rain that form droplets of water would help the plants to grow as our food. I must admit water plays a very important role in our life. Without water is like having a heart, which fails to pump, blood to produce oxygen for respiration.

Water is a compulsory needs in human life. Therefore, there is no doubt that water must be guaranteed clean before it is able to be consume or else the effects will cause human’s health to deteriorate. Each human’s health plays a very important role to our community as we are basically known as the assets of our community. In Malaysia, we are known very well for our varieties of race in our community. However, without any human, a community cannot be formed. Human’s energy too play an important role to our country and without us our economic in the country will get worst and also will be facing a big loss from the aspect of financial. Indeed, it is a really hard tasks to carry out especially in maintaining our health due to not only other aspects but also the toughest by trying to consume clean water. Our country’s technology is sufficiently enough to keep and distribute clean water to all the consumers. Then why are there still problems with unclean water?

Normally, unclean water is caused by our bad habits that are hard to change. We tend to find the easy way out and for instant, a student is eating an ice-cream while strolling near a river and that student is lazy to find a dustbin and threw the wrapper into the into the river. This student’s mindset would be that it is just a wrapper that would not do much harm to the river, but what if everyone does the same thing. The river will surely be contaminated and the living creatures in it will die of suffocation or poisoning. Moreover, factories too chose to find the easy way out by throwing all its toxic substances to the river and pollute it. What will happen to the river sooner or later? What especially will happen to the water content? What about us, as the consumer who count on the river for water supply in the water treatment centre?

This also reflects that we as one community are lack of civic mindedness. If we are civic concern, then unclean water would not be found. At the same time too, human nowadays are very self-centered and do not care about others. Now, this human nature is getting its fame very fast and this should not be happening. The nature being conserved needs cooperation from us and what more if its to keep our river clean to gain the harvest of clean water for everyone?

If you ask what healthy community, by the help of clean water can help? Many, I must say! If I can mention all, I would love to but I would like to emphasize on just two particular points. Firstly, the community will be able to consume the water without any doubts of getting any poisoning or even sickness. This coincidently leads to the second point; it would help to prevent the rate of death due to sickness to increase.

Therefore, as a courteous and responsible citizen, we should try to help and improve the quality of water. We can start by throwing all disposals in a proper place. The rules and regulations should be stricter and offenders who does pollution as well as littering should be fined or being put to prison. The government should also try to upgrade the water treatment technology since information technology is so advanced. a campaign too can be carried out and many activities can be done through the campaign such as seminars, talks, whole sales promotion of the campaign and many more beneficial activities.

In a nutshell, having a healthy community will really gives lots of benefits. However, to have a healthy community, clean water plays a very important role despite all the other needs. Besides, cooperation from the community itself is needed in order for our own goodness. Remember, we can make a difference.

Will and Jennifer to have their first honeymoon, camping in the jungle. This couple was very adventurous. When they were ready, they left for the jungle.

When they first arrived in the jungle, they quickly set up their tent. While Will was tightening the ropes of the tent, Jennifer started a campfire, cooked some food, which smelt great and brought out two chairs. After Will was done tightening the ropes, he sat down on a chair, took a piece of luscious fried chicken, and started eating it. Soon, Jennifer joined him.

Six minutes had passed by and Will was snoring like a pig. Jennifer was looking up into the bright blue sky. All of the sudden, they heard a loud roar. Will woke up with a shock and Jennifer stood up as fast as possible. They looked around to see where it came from. Once again, the animal roared. They looked towards the tree near their campsite. Slowly, a tiger came out from the trees letting out another roar. Jennifer screamed while Will quickly asked Jennifer to climb up a durian tree nearby. Jennifer did as told and Will was right behind her whole the way.

When both of them were up the tree, Will chopped off a few durians and threw them at the tiger. His hands were bleeding because the durians had sharp thorns. The durians hit the tiger with such force that the tiger flinched. A few missed but a lot hit it. The tiger died and they climbed down the tree.

They quickly packed their stuff and drove back to the city. After that day, they never dared to go out to another camping trip again.

Acting a part. Do you behave differently with different people, for instance friends, family and teachers?

Have you ever been dreaming of a carefree and easy feeling with every individual that you meet? I personally did try to feel that way before, however, I noticed I failed to do it as while we move on in life, we will tend to meet all kinds of people from all walks of life where we must behave differently by hook or by crook.

Let me start off with my friends. A little bit about my background that you have to know is, in my social life I know a wide variety of people from all walks of life that I mingle with as friends. To decrease the scope, I shall divide my friends into several groups.

Starting from friends whom I knew since my early years to very close friends whom I have met before and those, whom I never meet before but still very close to each other, continue to the group of friends met in society. Finally the group of friends whom I randomly meet without knowing any further details about them, more of like a stranger.

The best thing I can ever find in friends whom I grew up with is the memories I shared with them over the years. Sometimes in conversation during a hang out, we will just simply recall those memories and had a great laugh over it. Even better if we have a group of us, we would be teasing each other already. It is fun to enjoy such site in life where I will be able to behave easy and casual with them and no acting is needed even. It is all about being sincerely me.

Moving on to very close friends whom I have met before, except we do not grow up together. Mostly they will be a friend of my friend or friends of my cousins. These people are very easy for me to handle especially when I am a very sociable person. It is like meeting a new person at first where I will have to act maybe a little cool and not let out all about me so early in my friendship. However later in the friendship, we will somehow do not know how, will not need to act anymore as we start to understand each other nature and had learn how to get along well with each other already.

Now then as for friends met in society for instance church or some ministry, these people are mainly depending on how close you are with them. In this kind of friendship, prejudices tend to occur and also many unwanted behavior of people which you would not be pleasant with will be found. Thus, for me when I first join some group for instance in church, I still need a little acting to build up a very close friendship with the members that lasted till now. I suppose it is more of my first impression that will carry me to where I will be. Of course sometime I meet people whom I do not really favour much; I need to do a little acting by being sarcastic so that I do not loose my dignity over them. Sometimes to those who are veterans, obedience has to be shown and when they give me orders or advices I will just nod and say yes to everything although sometimes it is pretty pathetic to do so but still respect has to be there.

Finally in the aspect of friends are people whom I just meet randomly without knowing any further details about them, more or less a stranger to me except we might have come across path a couple of times in some function or so. When I am with this group of friends, it is all about acting all the time to bring out the best of me as first impression is all that matters. I do enjoy this group of friends as I love socializing and by putting my best out all the time does help me unintended in boosting up my confidence.

Now then moving on with how I normally, generally will behave in front my family members. Let me do the same too by dividing my family members to my primary family I live and meet daily, cousins and the elderly ancestors whom I only meet in special occasion once in a blue moon. Thank goodness me!

In front of my primary family members who are my parents and siblings is basically my true nature; lazy, love to be nag by my mum, but can be hardworking if am force to do something. Well this is where I bring out my true self more than how I did in front of my friends.

If it is my cousins, this is even better. I will just have the mixture of how I behave in front of my friends with how I behave in front of my primary family. The care free and no acting behaviour that is how I am when are with my cousins of all ages.

However if I am with my elderly ancestors such as my grandparents, uncles and aunties, I will have to put out the very best of me. This is in order not to give them an impression of my parents did not teach me how to behave well as I am from a Chinese family and that is how the tradition is.

The last group that I will be discussing is my teachers. Well then there are also four groups of teachers that I have categorizing them into. The first group of teachers is basically the veterans who I need to behave exactly like how I behave in front of my elderly ancestors. The second group will be those who I can be friendly with but not too friendly as they are still older than I am and I have to treat them with respect and not like a friend. The third group of teachers is the ones whom I can easily socialize with and they are better known to play two roles, a friend and also a teacher to me. I do not have to act at all in front of this group of teacher. The last group of teacher is the ones who hold prejudice towards me due to certain behaviour they dislike about me. Therefore, I will act very careful with them and a lot of dramatic acting as well as sarcastic acting will take place when I behave in front of this group of teachers.

In a nutshell I think I am pretty much an actress myself as well as moderately behaving carefree and easy. It all depends on who I am with. In fact that is what had been decorating and shaping my life all this while. I never fret about how I behave but I enjoy it a lot.

Title……

It was gloomy that day and the light, tender breeze blew the scent of the rain and wafted to my nostrils. Light, soft rumblings of thunder were overheard. Faded yellow lightning were flashing all around the grey clouds.

My instinct was telling me to get into the house now. My brain was forcing my stiff, tired muscles to move. However, I was still sitting by my backyard doorsteps staring meekly to a sweet-loving memory kennel. I missed the moments where a seven pound weighed fluffy little puppy used to come up to me especially during such weather, nibbling my buttons and stuck its nose to my belly.

I could recall how cute it was the first time I saw him in a pet adoption centre. I was wondering to myself who on Earth could have abandoned such an adorable creature? I had millions of memories with this little puppy which I named Rex.

After a few years of nagging my mum for a puppy, she finally gave in to my demands. She thought me the way to pick the best dog. Rex was among a group of puppies sent in for adoption by a Samaritan who found Rex and his siblings by a drain.

The only reason why I chose Rex was simple. When I first saw it, Rex was the most striking one among his siblings. However, my mum asked me to make sure my thoughts. So, I held onto the cage lock and bang the lock towards the cage leaving all the other puppies staggered behind the cage except Rex.

It was more of like a fate between Rex and me to become buddies. Rex, of course at first I thought was like any other ordinary dogs. However, I was wrong.

Rex was a very fast learner. By the time he is two weeks old, Rex seemed to follow my routine well. He would accompany me to any basketball practice with my friends at the park every evening without a leash. Rex would know where to pooh and he would not create any trouble for you. For instance, Rex would sit next to you on the floor watching television with you without moving not unless you switched it off and commanded it to follow you. Moreover, Rex would not touch the dog biscuit in front of him at all until you tell him it was all right, he could have it.

When you leave it alone in the house, he did not tumble anything over, messed the house around or turned your house into a Halloween house with all the toilet rolls flying. It was really amazing how Rex could learn that fast!

We even had a family joke about Rex being a saint. Whenever any relatives come over, they would seek for Saint Rex! Normally, my cousins enjoyed playing and growing up playing Frisbee with Rex.

Rex was also my good personal listener. Whenever I was not happy or I was down, I would seek for him and he would drag me to the doorsteps of my backyard door facing the jungle where his kennel was and I would spill all the beans to him. Sometimes, I really counted my blessings for having Rex around me. Normally, when I finished spilling all out to him, he would nibble my buttons on my clothes or dug his nose to my belly to comfort me and when I patted him, he would know the sign that I was fine already. Then, came the worst part of all, he would lick me all over leaving me laughing and shrieking while running around with him.

However, as the year’s passed by, Rex was getting old. Just imagine, when I first owned him I was just a toddler and now when I am a fully grown up teenager, he was already so old. He often got sick and till an hour ago that day, he was holding on tight to his life until he heard me telling him to go as he deserved better as a reward for had been serving me as his master for so long.

The gloomy sky really marked my mixed emotions in me. It was the hardest thing I had ever done in my life. All this while, it was Rex who had been by my side guarding, leading and sometimes fixed any problems for me by just listening to me fretting.

I could not bear my agony not having him by my side that day going through his death. Moreover, it was me who told him to go as he had done an excellent job.

The rain started to pour heavily that day. I knew it deep down in my heart, Rex was missing me too. It was so hard to accept such deportation but I had to move on.

I heard my mum calling out to me from the kitchen. I was paranoid with her and opened the backyard door to enter to the kitchen. She was babbling and babbling out to me about the reasons why I should not be at my backyard in such weather. Normally I would retaliate back but that day I was just meekly silent walking out from the kitchen to the living room like a dead zombie.

My mind was blank and filled with emptiness. I did not know what else to do except staring at the four walls in the living room. Then, I heard some rattling sound somewhere around my house. When I move a little, it stopped. So, I ignored it.

Moments later, I heard it again. Being so curious, I walked around the house and when I got tired, I sat back the same spot I was in a while ago.

Suddenly, my front door barged open and I saw my dad struggling in pulling, at first I thought it was just one but it was connected to one, two, three, four, five, six, seven,……EIGHT leashes!!

I was screaming cheerfully to my dad and I interrogated him where did he get all these puppies from. He said he found them at a drain not far away from our house without their mother. He took a long time to open the door as he had to tie those leashes to each one of them.

I could not believe my eyes and I was already on my knees patting and letting each one of them to go all over me. There was one, the smallest among all, it was just like Rex’s colour, brown with white patches and it surprised me by digging its nose to my bell, nibbling my buttons of my clothes.

it strike me that these puppies must belong to rex and its well who cared who its mate is and the mother to all these litters. As long as I was having Rex’s little babies.

There were four males and four females. I supposed the last batch of litters from Rex especially for me.

I enjoyed the company of these puppies from then on. I took great care of them and sooner or later, they all were filling my ample space but empty backyard with eight kennels including good old buddy, Rex’s kennel.

I even added in a coffee table and chairs for some family gathering where later my cousins could enjoy the company of the litters. Of course, I name each one of them over the initial of Rex for the four males and the initial of my name for the four females.

It was not so bad after all. At least my good old buddy, Rex’s departure left me some cute litters to accompany me when I am down. Even better, I do not need to spill the beans to his young litters, I just have to look at them and let them gather around me and I am happy enough.

As time passes, they grew healthier, bigger in size than me but very obedient. They followed me to the park or practices and all eight of them love jogging. They will once in a while get excited over meeting new friends in the park but will never go over limit. What a wonderful life is this after all? Rex, my eight litters and my fonded memories with them are just like the gloomy sky which symbolizes Rex’s deportation but later the gloomy sky that day, the sun came half an hour later, scorching brightly and the scent of freshness was surrounding my backyard giving me a rejuvenating feeling. Starting a new beginning in life. Starting a new chapter with the litters!

I guess the saying of when one door is closed, there are always many other doors wide open, waiting eagerly for you to enter, is really true after all.

To start off stuff d first concert was the fashion of Christ…ermm cudnt write much s had forgotten s it was during d 3rd February.. I knew I went late an hr s was attending sunset mass n manage to watch d fashion show…lotsa hotties and great luking guys in bridal costumes tats d oni 1 I watched n d rest hmmm I gez I miss it… x shots were taken 4 tis 1..

Well I shall start off wif my 2nd concert tat I attended and tat was d youth E R CONCERT.. it was 4 two nites d 20th and 21st of april… it was really cool and had great fun 2… in the meantime manage 2 hang out wif frens in shiok lyk tracie n all her frens 2…in the concert I enjoyed it a lot n I manage to meet n get to know mark david, the judge 4 blazt off!! I even took some shots wif him and here they r n would b posted in my photos too…. It was magnificent overall!! N my tix was worth it I gez despite d price is rm3 4 each nite d cheapest of all years…

Next I tink it was d following week o was it 2/3 weeks l8r… came d gen rev and family revival concert!!!! This was soooooooooooooo cool!!!!!!!!!!!! Especially I got to meet choy!! Haahz funnily choy was d 1st guy whom strike me on stage n it wasn’t kiddo hahax!! Erm I had quite a lot of shots frm tis concert… well I had there album 2 … n hmm 1st nite was genrev, was late again bt s I owez love to do..get to know d singers n soo I went up to yea u gez it rite choy n had a lil chat wif him and when my frens ask me when I came bck to them they actually yell me to get his autograph n said it was lame to juz had a chat wif him LOLX!!! Well in my case I tink abt it differently cuz I tink it doesn’t matter bt taking their autographs or shots mayb shots bt nt necessarily… wat’s important is to make urself known to dem n tat whenever u come up to dem they ll get to chat wif u lyk they r ur frens u c ~^^~…… sooo yea d second nite I dcided to bring my cam n yea I took lotsa shots man!!! Then 4 d afta concert I went wif my frens 2 mcd haahx n had late supper…gez wat I had?? Gah it was sooo warm soo if u ever step in such a place get an ice cream dude!!! N 4 pcs of nuggets love it especially mcd’s…soo rm10 4 d 1st nite concert tix n rm15 4 d second nite but it wasn’t my account but whose?? MY GODMA!! All thanx 2 her, love her lot ~^^~…

Then it was d following week d let’s c 3rd of june I gez… it was d synergy youth concert!! Oh boy tis was yea d smallest concert I ever went but tats a gud thing too n d drummer was sooo cool!! Unfortunately didn’t take autograph neither shots n s I said nt necessary,…. S 4 afta concert I went to colours wif ling @ esther hahax, my fren, we ate French fries n despite my sore throat I ignore n gorge myself wif her onto d delicious food… we didn’t had enuf n ordered nuggets n expect it to b lyk d picture lyk d mcd has it but it was disappointingly lyk our normal canteen nuggets which cost 40cents in sch but 50cents here…n had ribena n sprite my fav but nt worth it d price gt gov tax 2 rather xpensive prefer shiok actually..~^^~

K finalli d lastest concert I attended n was d MOST ULTIMATE COOLEST CONCERT WAS D FU-YOH DIGI STREET BLAST CONCERT!!!!!… well it wasn’t tat cool on its on juz tat s u had read d previous blog bt all my djs frens… soo u will notice bt jlo @ JASON LO… N he was performing in his own very hometown,kuching on d 9th of june 8 d amphitheatre… I said it was d ultimate coolest concert was bcuz it was honor to meet all my dj frens finally soo it was also honor to meet jlo but nt d rest of my dj frens…hoping 2 meet all of dem 1 day… n I took a shot wif him soo cool man s having d text I manage 2 enter 4 free afta reloading rm5 soo cool n tat simple yet havin d advantage of going backstage 4 up close n personal wif d artist n yea tats y.. It was cool 2 watch jlo perform lotsa songs of his n I lyk a couple of dem.. lyk operator, Malaysian invasion..ermm…eve news tat he perform in gud charlotte concert cool so Julie,sleepy head, ermm lots more.... bsides I nvr plan to go 4 tis concert I gez GOD works his miracle… well I receive d promotion text frm digi n wonder shud I suscribe ont to fu yoh bt in d end decided nt to n didn’t care bt d concert bt 1 day b4 d concert I received d 2 xclusive passes in fact 4 s havin 2 digi number n was sooo xcited tat I call up n dwn 4 my frens to join me bt unfortunately x 1 cud make it… soo I juz ignored it again… bt tat sat nite afta sunset mass my fren came up to me n ask me to wif him tat was cool bt he hafta attend to a bday dinner n we went to d concert 8 9.30pm n wat luck!! Jlo perform 8 10pm hahax!!! Well it ended 8 midnite bt stayed till 11pm s I hav a curfew but smhw I m lucky in tat sense cuz I met jlo!!! N yea wish it was all of my dj frens ~^^~…sooo cool juz really cool hahaz…sooo yea tats bt it..

Next up is act d hotlink concert well x plans n its tonite n tmrw nite soo ll c my fate…

Well it was d 14th june n tadah s my fam n I noe we had a cat which ‘datang tanpa diundang’ soo yea n it gt itself pregnant jee.. tdk malu punya kucing :p…n yea it was morn when the cat gave my cousin an emergency luk tat its going to deliver anytime.. she gt ready a box wif cloth in it n left it 8 d kitchen n my mum was bz in d kitchen cuking… she said when it was around 9.15am the cat start delivering the first kitten unfortunately tat 1st born had complication.. its body came out first n then d head soo yea sadly it was dead.. then nt sure which colour came out bt it was another black n light grey mix brown lyk its mum colour…cute!! They luk lyk puppies heehe… which they were puppies… bt yea m sad 4 d 1st born oooo…. ;( haizzz well tats life n cuz d mother cat was oso really worried n wif my mum n cousin x xperience n didn’t noe wat to do sooo yea… too bad.. n when I came home I was told bt tis account.. soo well mayb will b giving away d kittens when they r old enuf n d mother cat too… soo mayb ll try to take some shots of it to post bt really they luk cute..;)

EXAM REALI MAN SUXSSSSSSSSSSSS!!!!!!! Gosh I hafta suffer soo much tis tyme in exam.. esp in several papers being put on d same day… juz lyk sejarah being paired wif English essay sheesh even a best seller do not write 11 essay all tghther 4 a day in fact its 1 whole morning… dang!! N oso bm paper 2 paired wif pmoral jee wat a terror man!! Write soo much till u can throw out n get fade up of writing sheesh… however manage to wake up 8 2.45am to watch ac Milan vs Liverpool on d day of maths paper2 paired wif physics 1… but slept 8 11.45pm dang cuz of wat?? Of cuz bcuz of GREY ANATOMY~!!!! SOOO addictive gah!!! We ended the whole 2 weeks exam wif est paper 1 n 2 n maths paper 1.. n we had an after math by having a drink over 8 3A2 clz wif the yell of YAM SENG marks d ending of the whole stressful n dreadful 2 weeks of exam haahz!!!!!!!!!!! Wat relieve… n hw I manage to stdy soo well frm 8pm til bt 10pm yea… my frens who are on air will here my call n frets !! hahaz thankz to them especially to shaun n ean 4 listening to me soo meekly!!^^

abIt all started when I was introduced to hitz in form 1. frm then on I listen n listen wifout doin anithg… then end of form 1 in September 2004 I guess I was finding myself calling hitz 4 d 1st tyme n d 1st person I ever known was… Ean! N nw I ended knowin 4 abt approximately 2 and d ½ or mayb abt 3 yrs… stll enjoying his company vry much.. then I started to noe pietro who is in mix nw n oso serena c who is in mix 2… then came Jason lo in hitz still there n junior n hmmm yea then I tink in 2005/06 I started to listen to lite.. I knew Kevin francis frm there n abt a yr I knew him n his place was taken till nw by shaun hahaz!! Nw I know azura n natalie n oso adam c… I even know ross n sham in mix.. I know shaz 2 frm xfresh oh yes n rex frm lite…they r all great ppl in my life who plays a big part of my life… had been keeping in touch really often. Nw then 2 noe them oni is 1 diff thg.. but to make urself known to dem needs sacrifications.. 1st u hafta haf tyme to keep in touch wif them.. then u hafta well juz dun b 2 shy n speak to dem lyk normal conversation then yea slowly u juz hafta follow d flow n thgs get reaali well oh yea check out their website n tadah tats oso a way 2… by all means it has to dpend on oneself’s desire n interest yea!!^^

Grey anatomy, a series of cool n addictive series… I duno y but smhw I juz cant miss even an episode of it although knowing that there’s a repeat on d weekend n still watch both repeat n on d day itself gah… well well I enjoy d character of hmm x idea but Meredith strikes me d most n I started watching it frm season 2.. soo in season 2 I do lyk d ending where she has to choose btween 2 guys n in d end in season3 she chose d guy I wud wanna choose myself 2, Derek. Derek seems lyk an old guy but he is really a magnificent person when it cums to Meredith… he’s married once to dr.montgamary but divorced due to she s=cheated on him wif dr. sloan n sloan is a really hmm a guy who slept wif several lads include dr.callie!!hahhahahaz !! soo tats so far wat I watch n felt soo yea… haven’t been writing blogs 4 so long n finali I did it!!^^ cheers!

The match was great unfortunately Liverpool lose. Oh well it was all due to benitez who made mistakes in positioning his players such as Steven Gerrard …
so I muz say tat out of all 4 teams namely Liverpool, man u, Chelsea n arsenal… arsenal won nth n Chelsea is d oni team who won 2 but nt 1 cup tat is d carling cup n FA Cup.. well well next season would hope 4 more surprises n improvement doh…
n yea I tink in my opinion I can c potential in arsenal team but mayb it will oni b shown in 3-4 yrs time?? Man u had their glory seasons long long time ago n many players most of dem n majoritiyly they r 8 old age n liverpool is still in their midst of glory seasons n chelsea about to achieve theirs…
soo I shall say c u all folks next season 4 more excitement!!
